LongKow Foods Enterprise Corporation was established in 1949 solely by Mr. Chang, Yang-Ming, who insisted not only on continuous development, but manufacturing quality products that are natural, safe, light and LOHAS segments. These products also obtained certificates from Europe (EU, 2008), Taiwan (2009), USA (USDA’s Organic Standards,2013) and China(COFOCC,2014). Our “Organic Vermicelli”, “Kanten Vermicelli” and “Chlorophyll Bean Vermicelli” are the first and leading products in Taiwan.

In 1941, a young kid named Mr. Yang Ming Chang, decided to start LongKow Vermicelli during a chaotic and uncertain time. Relying on memory of experiences and strong determination, LongKow Vermicelli was born. The vermicelli process uses mung bean as raw materials, crushed to strands, boiled with hot water and then frozen in cold, then air dried under the sun. That year, through countless trial and error, LongKow Vermicelli was introduced to Taipei city.
LongKow vermicelli is soft in taste and difficult to overcook, and even though it may be a side dish; it complements any main course perfectly.
Mr. Chung Kuang Chang, the 2nd generation of the founder, has the same philosophies and values as his father. They both conduct business with honesty and use natural resources in their products without any chemical additives. With continuous innovation, he develops the business step by step holding true to the core principles. Soak konjac crystal noodles in water until it softens, put in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, and soak in cold water to reduce water content.
Cut grass jelly into big slices and konjac crystal noodles into small slices. Mix them with shaved ice and top with brown sugar longan honey.

Method:
Soak the Kanten until it softens and then squeeze out the water content.
Place 1200 c.c. of water in a pot using low fire and add the Kanten while stirring. Add the milk water and almond extract mixing it well. Turn off the fire and pour contents into a container letting it cool down and solidify into almond concentrate.
Fill 2000 c.c. of cold water into another container and mix the sugar evenly. Add almond extract and big chunks of almond milk concentrate, watermelon, pineapple, and kiwi mixed evenly, for a nice bowl of fruit almond milk concentrate.

Put rice vermicelli into boiled water (800 c.c.) and cook for two minutes until it softens.
